Annual VW show and Lotte update

Last year they started doing a VW car show in front of our home in the park across the street. For those of you who know me, I love cars - specially vintage cars. I don't usually take the time to go to many shows, but when one is right in front of my home (40 steps from my front door) I wont miss it.

VW is a funny brand. Associated with hippies and hipsters. So, it gets a lot of hate. But I love Brasilias and classic Beetles.

I took my dad this year and it was really fun interacting with him as he reminisced about the VWs that his family owned as well as himself - 1966 VW Beetle. Grandpa Rimmasch had a couple of Beetles himself as well as a couple Buses - including a Campervan. It was a lot of fun. Then we took Lotte to the park.

That was probably more fun than the show. Lotte is really starting to excel in both speech and problem solving. We love our little munchkin and can't wait for #2 this coming March.
